Emergency Service Changes
Check the alert feed for voucher links whenever train service is disrupted or a bus bridge is activated.
MARTA has partnered with Uber and Lyft to provide our customers greater flexibility and more options for their transportation needs when normal MARTA service is disrupted. The program offers on-demand, app-based rides for customers at a discounted price during specific planned and unplanned rail
service disruptions that require supplemental bus transportation. Customers will be responsible for any cost beyond the value of the discount.
How it works:
Step 1:
Planned Rail
Service Disruptions
MARTA will provide a link for Uber and a code for Lyft through @MARTAService Twitter, itsmarta.com or our
MyCommute alert system for a specific use.
Unplanned
Rail Service Disruptions
Whenever MARTA announces that MARTAConnect has been activated due to an unplanned rail service disruption, customers can scan the QR codes located on faregates, inside bus loops and other conspicuous locations at the rail station.
Once the QR code has been scanned with a mobile phone camera, it will link to this site: MARTAConnect.
Customers can click the train alert at the top of the page (circled in red) which will include the link for Uber and the code for Lyft.
MARTA will also provide a link for Uber and a code for Lyft through @MARTAService Twitter, itsmarta.com or our
MyCommute alert system for the specific rail disruption.
Step 2:
Customers can click on the platform of their choice (Uber or Lyft) which will then provide them with instructions for securing their ride pass.
Customers will be responsible for any cost beyond the value of the discount.
